Our senior profile focus for this week is Madelynn Bakke. Maddy has been involved in the school play for 4 years, 4H for 6 years, and various other activities at SGCHS.
Maddy is a talented artist and has pursued those artistic talents while at SGCHS. Most recently as a member of the yearbook staff where she designed the cover page and other pages for our 2020 yearbook this year.
Madelynn's plans after high school consist of moving to Wenatchee, Washington and taking care of her grandma this summer. She would like to pick up some college courses, and apply for an apprenticeship at a tattoo shop. After she meets all of those goals, she is unsure where the wind will take her. With Maddy's amazing artistic ability, I'm sure it will take her somewhere great. Her strong passion for drawing and art will her to success.
Throughout all of high school, Maddy's most memorable moment was when her and two friends, Bella Donald and Connor Dringman would go and hide behind the scoreboard in the gym during their study hall, and try to avoid the eyes of Mrs. Todd so they wouldn't be caught.
If Madelynn found herself stranded on a deserted island, she would bring her pets, music, and some art supplies to keep her occupied.
