SGCHS Creativity: Where Ag. Meets Metal
Caleb Baker
Friday, March 13, 2020

The Ag. department's metal fabrications class is working on a commission from Brian Engle. Engle, owner of Pioneer Meats, commissioned a BBQ trailer to use for catering portion of his business. The grill is on tracks and can move from the center to the side for cooking vs. driving. It has a folding hitch and many other qualities that make this project unique and impressive. Some of the students creating this project are Blake Garton, Jake Palin, Tony Teague, Layne Stratton, Brodee Petterson, Austin Hanson, Gabe Martz, Colton Freeman, and Braydon Young.

Mr. Stanley says that the main point of this project is to build fabrication skills. Stanley also says that it keeps the students motivated to build cool things. It will be shown in Great Falls where the students will enter their project and compete. The top students in the class will go to this competition.
