The SGCHS journalism staff is implementing new ways to fill the yearbook pages with photos of all things blue and white. In the past, yearbook members would attend school sponsored events to photograph Herder activities such as sports games, pep assemblies, and practices for extracurriculars. This year, COVID-19 restrictions have posed an obstacle in regards to event attendance.
Due to the difficulty of obtaining pictures for the 2020/2021 yearbook, the Sheepherder staff is seeking help from parents and community members. They will be using an app called Yearbook Snap, which can be downloaded on most devices. Yearbook Snap will allow students, teachers and community members to send in pictures that document little moments of Herder history. These photos can contain anything from the Herder football team scoring a touchdown to students attending school from home through virtual learning. We want to capture all aspects of student life in our community.
The world has seen COVID-19 cause numerous changes to yearly traditions. Help the Sheepherder staff keep the SGCHS Timberline yearbook tradition alive!
