Sweet Grass County High School in Big Timber, MT is seeking a strong educational leader for the position of Superintendent for the 2020-2021 school year. This position will start July 1, 2020 and is a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate must have experience as a school superintendent, excellent communication skills, and a record of working collaboratively with students, teaching staff, community and classified employees and be willing to be involved in the community.
Salary Range: $85,000-$100,000 DOE, + competitive benefits,
Enrollment: 170 students grades 9-12

Master’s degree or better in school administration
Valid Montana Administrator’s certification with appropriate administrative endorsements upon hire
Minimum of three (3) years of successful school superintendent experience.
The District’s Superintendent is required to reside within the District boundaries.
