With the last day of school coming for our seniors, today we'll get to know Meredith Myrstol. Meredith has been a proud student of SGCHS for four years. She has participated in many interesting school activities such as cheerleading, Pep Club, S Club, speech & drama, band, and school play for all 4 years. She has also been in National Honor Society and choir for 3 years, as well as Sweet Sixteen for 2 years, and SAVY and Golf for 1. Out of all the activities and clubs she has participated in cheerleading, Sweet 16, school plays, and choir were her favorites.
Some of Meredith’s hobbies include watching lots of movies, playing the flute, video recording and editing, and baking.
Memories that have stuck with her are “winning 1st at State Speech & Drama, all of my "school play death scenes", study halls with Ms. Perkins, cheering at football games and tournaments (including our awesome cheer routines), and Singing Valentines. Another memorable thing: this quarantine.”
Meredith’s plan after high school is going to Montana State University-Billings to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in English education with a minor in history education because she always wanted to be a teacher and teach future generations about the subjects she loves.
Her advice to future students is “be involved; do stuff. There is always a place for you--you just have to go out and find it.”
When asked what 3 things she would take to a desert island, her responses are “A lounge chair, sunscreen, and Jack from Lost. He’ll handle the rest.”
