SGHS Summer Office hours start June 22nd, 2026 from 9:00am to12:00pm Monday thru Thursday.

Tomorrow (5/29) is the last day of school! Students will be checking out of their classes throughout the morning. We are hoping to have students checked out by noon. Buses will start running at 1pm. Congratulations on making it through the school year, have a great summer!!!

On Tuesday, May 19th, and Wednesday, May 20th, we had 7 individuals compete in the Class B State Golf Tournament at Lake Hills Golf Course in Billings, MT. The tournament consists of two rounds over two days of play. Our boys team competed at state (3 of the 5 participants qualified individually as well), and two girls competed. Our golfers were consistent, determined, and strong, showing true Herder spirit and sportsmanship. Our boys team put up some good scores and earned 6th place. Sawyer Durfee placed 6th overall! Both of our girls set personal records (Annabelle with a 95, and Annika with an 82). Annika King placed 7th overall! We are proud of them all. Go Herders!
We had a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY! The High School and Grade School Math Departments met up to grind through the new, 2026 Math Standards! They rocked it!
Once again, our Herders have made us so proud! The boys and girls golf team competed in the Golf Divisionals Tournament on Monday, May 11th. We are happy to announce that our Boys Team tied for 3rd and will be going to state! Our Girls Team fought hard, but ended up 6 strokes away and placed 5th. However, Annika King placed 6th, and Annabelle Locke placed 19th, so they will both be going to state next week!

Come join us tonight at the Civic Center at 7PM for the 2026 SGHS Pops Concert. You will get to enjoy a night of music and fun. The students have worked so hard to prepare these musical pieces, and they would love to share them with you!
We are proud of our golfers for their performance at Roundup Golf Course on Wednesday, May 6th! Special acknowledgements to Mark Curry, who PR'd with a 79, and Jasper Wagner, who PR'd with an 87. Congratulations and way to go, Herders!
