This weeks events for Homecoming!


Saddled up and ready for the ride, Mollie Mae Ruth held on tight in Wibaux, MT. She placed 10th in Barrels, 7th in Poles, 5thg in Breakaway Roping, 3rd in Team Roping, and 2nd in Goat Tying. Way to lasso up some excitement.

Attention all Cheer Campers!!!! Tuesday Sept. 26th @ 5pm at the football field we will be practicing the halftime dance for Homecoming Friday. If you would like to be part, please come and join us and the SGHS Pep band for practice!


CANCELLED: JV Volleyball this Saturday against Roundup. There will still be a Varsity game at 3:30pm on Saturday against Roundup. Hope to see you there!!!

SGHS Choir & Sweet 16 will be singing the National Anthem for the varsity volleyball game on Thursday, September 28 Homecoming, vs. Park City. We'd like to invite any Choir/Sweet 16 alumni who would like to join us please join us for our short rehearsal on Tuesday, September 26th, from 7:00-7:30 pm in the music room. Mollie Mae Ruth is at it again! The weekend of Sept 2nd at Sydney Mollie took 1st place in team roping and 7th in barrels. In Glendive that same weekend she rode away with a 2nd in Breakaway roping. This last weekend she competed in Baker receiving a 2nd in both rounds of cutting, and 1st & 2nd in the reined cow horse at Bozeman. Congratulation!!!!

Attention parents of 2024 graduates! The FAFSA opening date appears to be different this year. You will be able to begin applying for FAFSA in December this year instead of October. This is due to multiple changes in the application process. If you would like more information, please attend the Finacial Aid night on September 13th at 6:00 pm in the conference room.

Hello Herders,
All Freshmen will be taking the PreACT 8/9 on September 19th at 8:30 AM and all Sophomores will be taking the PreACT on September 21st at 8:30 AM. Students are required to take these exams in order to prepare for the ACT and to provide academic data for the school so please make sure they are present!
