Congratulations to the Golf Teams for their 4th place finishes in Three Forks yesterday! Top 15 Individual results include: Abby Laverell tied for 8th place and set a new personal record. Adelyn Tronrud placed 15th. Trae DeSaveur placed 7th and set a new personal record and Sawyer Durfee tied for 14th. Landedn Terland did not place in the top 15 but he did set a new competitive personal record. Way to go Herders! The Teams' next competition will be the Divisional Meet in Shepherd on Monday!

Congratulations to the Softball Team for their 16-10 win over Lewistown yesterday! The Herders/Rangers will take on Hardin at Home this afternoon for Senior Honor Night. Stop by the field in Livingston and cheer on our own Emily Prather in her last home softball game!

Congratulations to our Golf Teams and Track athletes who competed yesterday! Golf was able to host their home meet at Overland Golf Course. Both the Boys and the Girls placed 4th with the following individuals making the top 15: Sawyer Durfee placed 5th. Trae DeSaveur tied for 14th place. Abby Laverell placed 10th. Adelyn Tronrud tied for 14th place. Several Track athletes qualified for the Midland Roundtable Top 10 Meet which was held in Laurel. Our Top 10 finishers were: 110m Hurdles: Caleb Stosich placed 4th with a PR. 1600m: Natalie Wood placed 3rd. 300m Hurdles: Aley Aller placed 5th with a PR. 4x400m Relay: Aley Aller, Anaya Hope, Natalie Wood and Kameryn Ketcham placed 7th. Triple Jump: Kameryn Ketcham placed 7th with a PR. Well Done Herders!!!

Dinner will be a pot-luck with the Herder Booster Club providing pulled pork and dessert. Families please feel free to contribute any sides or fixins. Reminder! The Sweet Grass County High School Margaret Deegan Chapter of the National Honor Society is holding their 2023 Induction Ceremony tonight. All parents & family of current and incoming members are invited to celebrate this momentous achievement! In light of this event, the chapter would like to thank the Crazy Peak Boutique for their support in running their fall fundraiser. The students were able to raise funds by spooking the community in this FUN-draiser. The boutique's support has been integral in allowing the chapter to fund their spring banquet and their community service activities such as the Children's Christmas Camp and the Staff Appreciation Breakfast. Come down to the High School on Monday, May 8th at 7:00pm to watch some DONKEY BASKETBALL!!! The FFA Alumni are putting on this event to help fundraise for their group. The FFA Alumni are great supporters of our High School FFA Chapter and are a great asset to our community. Congratulations to the Softball team for their big conference win over Laurel on Saturday. The Herders./Rangers beat the Locomotives 9-7. Track was also in action on Saturday in Bozeman with a smaller crew than usual. The Girls team brought home an 8th place finish and the Boys placed 15th as a team. Girls Individual Results: Natalie Wood placed 1st in the 1600m and the 3200m. Her time in the 3200m was a personal best and surpassed her school record from last season in this event. Boys Individual Results: Caleb Stosich placed 9th in the 100m with a PR and 4th in the 110m Hurdles. Colter Fleming placed 8th in the 300m Hurdles.

Congratulations to the Golf and Softball teams for their success yesterday! Softball earned a 17-14 Victory over Lockwood. The Boys Golf Team placed 4th with Trae DeSaveur (14th) and Sawyer Durfee (15th) both placing in the top 20. For the Girls, Abby Laverell placed 7th and tied her personal best score. Adelyn Tronrud placed 15th which rounds out the girls placings in the top 20. Track unfortunately had their meet cancelled due to the weather shortly after starting.

Our students and staff have been putting in a tremendous amount of work on this production and we are excited to see the final result. There has been a slight change in the Golf Schedule. The Varsity Golf match that was previously scheduled for today will now take place on Tuesday, April 18th at Livingston Golf Course.
