Class #1: Kumihimo Jewelry Making Instructor: Tali Snedigar Dates: Wednesdays: March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th Time: 5:00-6:30pm Location: SGHS Library Class Description: Tali Snedigar will be teaching a 5-week Kumihimo Jewelry making class. You will learn the Japanese braiding technique of Kumihimo. You'll learn how to set up, create a braid, and how to add beads to the braid. We will be making a Necklace/Bracelet set or a Necklace/Earring set. All of the materials needed will be provided. Bring a large pendant if you have one you'd like to use; there will be a limited selection of pendants to choose from. This class is limited to 10 people. HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to our Herder/Ranger Wrestling team for placing 10th at the Class A State Tournament over the weekend! Trae DeSaveur placed 4th at 132lbs and Gage McGillvray placed 5th at 138lbs. Way to go Wrestlers! The Boys & Girls Basketball teams also wrapped up the regular season over the weekend. The Girls came out with wins against Red Lodge on Friday (73-63) and Manhattan on Saturday (46-36). The District Tournament Brackets have been released. Congratulations to the FFA Ag. Mechanics team that competed in Melstone yesterday! The team placed 2nd with Jake Chulyak placing 1st individually. The Boys and Girls basketball teams also earned wins over Whitehall last night. The boys won 65-40 and the girls won 59-36. Way to go Herders!
