Congratulations to the FFA teams on a successful trip to Great Falls yesterday! The Agronomy team took 5th place with Nathan Laubach placing 8th individually. The Livestock Evaluation team took 1st place with Morgan Anderson placing 2nd and Weston Sondeno 4th. The Meats Evaluation dominated with a 1st place finish and the following individual placings: Guildy Browning 1st, Morgan Anderson 2nd, Sierra Mauland 3rd, Weston Sondeno 4th, and Paige Wertheimer 8th. Way to go FFA!!!

There has been a slight adjustment to the basketball game times in Townsend this afternoon. Boys C-Squad will play at 3:00pm Boys & Girls JV will play at 4:30pm Girls Varsity will play at 6:00pm Boys Varsity will play at 7:30pm Good Luck Herders!

Congratulations to the Boys & Girls Basketball teams for their wins over Columbus last night! The boys started things off with a 47-36 win and the girls ended the night with a 57-49 win. Way to go Herders!!

Congratulations to the Girls Basketball team for their 72-36 win over Red Lodge on Friday night! The Wrestling team competed at the Cowboy Invitational in Miles City over the weekend. Congratulations to Trae DeSaveur, Gage McGillvray and Zane Cox who placed in the top 10 in their weight classes. Trae placed 7th at 132lbs, Gage placed 2nd at 138lbs, and Zane placed 8th at 205lbs. Congratulations to our Herders who had a successful weekend! Both the Girls ad Boys Basketball teams got wins on Friday night against Joliet. The girls won 58-36 and the boys won 41-30. Saturday was a big day for the Herders. Girls Basketball beat Jefferson 72-55. Several Speech & Drama team members placed in the top 10 with Roman Wagner placing 5h in the Lincoln-Douglas Debate and Kass Larson and Nikki Teague paced 7th in Classical Theatre. Wrestling Competed in the Tome Leprowse Invitational in Bozeman on Friday and Saturday. For the Varsity Bracket: Trae DeSaveur took 4th place at 132lbs. Gage McGillvray took 5th and Colter Fleming took 8th at 138lbs. For the JV/Second Chance Bracket: Zane Cox took 2nd place at 205lbs. Charlie Seemann took 3rd place at 170lbs. Taw Seemann took 4th place at 152lbs. Ryal Carroccia took 6th place at 132lbs. Oscar Toulouse took 4th place at 126lbs. Way to go Herders!!!

SGHS is looking for ticket takers to cover various shifts for the rest of our basketball season. Ticket takers collect admissions fees at the entrance to our home games and are paid $30 per shift worked throughout the season.
