It is Game Day for our Herders! Today the Wrestling team is in Bozeman competing in the Tom Leprowse Invitational. Tonight the Boys and Girls Basketball teams host Joliet. Boys JV starts at 3:00pm at the High School Girls C-Squad starts at 3:30pm at the Civic Center (1/2 game) Girls JV Starts at 4:30pm at the High School Boys C-Squad starts at 4:30pm at the Civic Center Boys Varsity starts at 6:00pm at the High School Girls Varsity starts at 7:30pm at the High School Tomorrow is another busy day for our Herders. Wrestling continues their competition in Bozeman. Boys and Girls Basketball plays at Jefferson. Speech & Drama competes in Townsend. Best of Luck to all our Herders!!!

SGHS is looking for ticket takers to cover various shifts for the rest of our basketball season. Ticket takers collect admissions fees at the entrance to our home games and are paid $30 per shift worked throughout the season. SGHS is gearing up for our annual Career Exploration and Job Fair! This event is an opportunity for students to learn more about careers that interest them and possibly find an after-school or summer job! We are currently looking for local businesses to attend! Be sure to come on down to the gym tonight for a home wresting dual against Laurel and Columbus! It is Senior Honor Night and we will be honoring and recognizing our four senior wrestlers. Good Morning SGHS Families- Due to the increasingly cold temperatures and the potential for blowing and drifting snow, Sweet Grass County High School has made the decision to cancel classes for tomorrow, Thursday, December 22, 2022. All games, practices and meetings are cancelled for Wednesday, December 21 and Thursday, December 22, 2022. We will return to school as scheduled on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Congratulations to the Girls and Boys Basketball teams for their wins over Whitehall last night! The girls won 67-35 and the boys won 52-36. Way to go Herders!

Congratulations to the Girls Basketball team for wins against Townsend and Three Forks this weekend. They beat Townsend 82-36 on Friday and Three Forks 55-21 on Saturday. Also Congratulations to the Wrestling team who placed 13th overall in a very tough tournament in Great Falls. Trae DeSaveur took 2nd place at 132lbs and Zane Cox took 8th place at 205 lbs. Way to go Herders!

It was brought to our attention that the link to sign up for the National Honor Society Christmas Camp was not working. We have fixed the problem and the google form is now accessible for all to be able to sign your kids up for the camp! For any parents looking for a break while they prepare for the holidays, National Honor Society will be hosting this year's Christmas Camp this Sunday, December 18th from 12-5pm at the high school! It's Game Day Herder Fans! We have our first home basketball games of the season with our Herders facing Townsend. JV Boys will start things off at 3:00pm at the High School. JV Girls will follow at 4:30pm at the High School. C-Squad Boys will play at 4:30pm at the Civic Center. There will not be a C-Squad Girls game. The Varsity Boys tip off at 6:00pm at the High School and the Varsity Girls will close things out at 7:30pm at the High School. Big Pig BBQ will also be here serving pulled pork sandwiches during the JV and Varsity games. GO HERDERS!!!

This Thursday (12/15) we are having our Winter Concert where holiday music will be performed by our 5th-12th grade students! The concert will take place at the Civic Center and will start at 7:00pm. Admission is free. We hope to see everyone there!
