Our bleachers weren't the only exciting thing to happen so far this summer. Thanks to a very generous donation from Oie Motor Company, we were able to fully upgrade our Herder mascot! We are so excited to have this mascot suit to further show our Herder Pride and allow our students the opportunity to bring even more excitement and energy to our school events. Thank you Oie Motors! We cannot wait to see our Herder in action!

It was a bittersweet lunch hour as we gathered to celebrate Mrs. Cindy Bainter and send her off on a well-deserved retirement. Over the last 23 years, Cindy has worked so hard to provide delicious and nutritious meals to all of our students K-12. She has gone above and beyond in her duties as head cook to make breakfast and lunch something for our students and staff to look forward to every day. She has also served as a class sponsor for the class of 2022 for the last four years. Cindy has been an integral part in our partnership with the Crazy Peak Cattle Women to provide local beef for school meals for the last several years. This year she was also awarded with a certificate of appreciation from the Montana Office of Public Instruction for her years of food service and her dedication to fulfilling the goals of school nutrition. We cannot express how much we will miss seeing Cindy day in and day out and we wish her all the happiness in her retirement!
