Good Luck to the JV Golf team who kicks off the spring competition season today in Shepherd!
Also- Congratulations to the FFA students who competed in the first round of State CDEs/LDEs on Monday and Tuesday in Miles City!
The Meats Evaluation team placed 2nd with Morgan Anderson placing 1st, Weston Sondeno placing 5th, Rylee Swartz placing 6th and Mollie Mae Ruth placing 7th individually.
The Food Science team, made up of Kira Krug, Zoey Aller, Nathan Laubach and Madi Wolfe, placed 7th.
The Veterinary Science team, made up of Guildy Browning, Emma Donald, Sierra Mauland and Weston Sondeno, placed 8th.
The Agricultural Communications team, made up of Paige Whalin, Kira Krug, Madison Groff and Samantha Rooney (5th individually), placed 5th.
Congratulations to our FFA students and best of luck today to our JV Golf Team!

Tomorrow night is the Pre-Festival Band & Choir Concert at the High School! This concert will help our students get a final tune up before heading to the District Music Festival next Tuesday.
The concert starts at 7:00pm. We look forward to seeing you there!


Last Wednesday a group pf students spent the day at MSU in Bozeman competing in the Academic Olympics. Both teams that competed made it to the 8th round (12 rounds total) and narrowly missed advancing.
Congratulations to our Academic Olympians on their hard work and success in a very difficult competition!

Reminder: track and golf photo order forms are due by Thursday, March 24th. Composites are $20 and can be ordered online or by using the traditional order form. Magnets and pins can only be ordered by using the order form.



Attention all students eligible for Driver's Ed!
There is still space in Class 2 for Driver's Ed this year.
Classroom instruction for Class 2 will be held on: May 9, 10, 12, 16, 17, 19, 23, 24, 31 and June 2nd from 6:00-8:00pm in the SGHS Library. The driving portion of this class will start on June 3rd.
Please complete the form below and return it to the High School to get registered! The cost for this class is $300.00.


Our Career and Job Fair is only 3 weeks away!
So far we have some fantastic local businesses signed up, but we would love to pack our gym and show our students all the great opportunities Big Timber and Sweet Grass County have to offer!
We hope this is a place to help employers find employees, students to find summer jobs (or all year long), and to also offer insight to the career opportunities here for our students after graduation.

Congratulations to the students who traveled to Billings on Tuesday for the Math Contest!
61 of our students participated and represented SGHS fantastically.
The Junior & Senior team took first place with the Freshman & Sophomore team taking 2nd place.
In addition to the team placings, 27 of our students placed in multiple events.
This is the first time in the last three years that SGHS has attended this event and we are excited to pick up right where we left off!
Congratulations to our students as well as Mrs. Novotny and Mrs. Whitman!

REMINDER!
The spring sports parent meeting is TONIGHT at 6:00pm.
Track will meet in the cafeteria and Golf will meet in the band room.
Anyone participating in spring sports must have their sports physical completed and into the office before practices begin on Monday, March 14th. Anyone who has not yet played a sport this year will also need to attend their meeting tonight and complete other necessary paperwork.
