Congratulations to the Lady Herders on their 64-58 win over Red Lodge in the first round of the Divisional Tournament!
The Herders take on Colstrip tomorrow evening at 6:30pm.

Good Morning and Happy GAME DAY!!!
Best of luck to the Girls Basketball team as they start the Divisional Tournament today at 1:30pm against Red Lodge.
The game is at MetraPark in Billings. Tickets must be purchased through MetraPark by calling 1-800-366-8538 or 256-2422. Ticket booths at the venue will be open from 8:00am today, tomorrow and Saturday.
For those who will not be able to attend the game in person, all Divisional Tournament games will be streamed on the NFHS Network.

Good Afternoon!
It is time to get registered for Driver's Ed! The informational letter as well as the registration form below will be mailed and/or emailed to 8th, 9th and 10th graders who are eligible.

Attention Junior and Senior class parents!
All students in the Junior and Senior classes have been given the information for the ski trip on March 28th. Students must be registered and have their paperwork turned in by March 18th.
See the attached letter for more information about the trip!



On Monday some of our FFA students traveled to Sheridan for the spring CDEs. We had students qualify for State in: Sr. Mechanics, Sr. Agronomy, Farm and Agribusiness Management and Star Greenhand.
Paige Wertheimer was awarded 1st place Star Greenhand.
The Sr. Mechanics team took 2nd place. Individually, Jake Chulyak placed 2nd, Coltyn LaRue placed 4th and Avery Durfee placed 10th.
The Jr. Mechanics team placed 1st. Individually, Jayden Thomas placed 2nd, William Donald placed 3rd, Zane Cox placed 7th and Cole Ferguson placed 10th.
The Farm and Agribusiness team places 2nd with Jake Chulyak placing 1st, Colter Fleming placing 5th, Ashley Young placing 8th and Sierra Mauland placing 9th.
The Sr. Agronomy team placed 5th with Madi Wolfe placing 5th individually.
Nathan Laubach placed 10th individually for the Jr. Agronomy team.

Huge Congratulations to the Girls Basketball team for winning the District Championship this weekend!
They beat Jefferson 53-42 in the championship game and advance to the Southern B Divisional Tournament on March 3rd-5th at the Billings Metra.
Way to go Herders!!!

Pep Band/Cheer/Pep bus leaves the high school at 2:30 today (2/18) for the girls' bb game in Belgrade.

The Boys Basketball team kicks off the District Tournament today at 3:00pm vs. Jefferson. The game will be played at the Belgrade Special Event Center and live streamed on the NFHS Network.

Tomorrow, the Girls Basketball team will play their first District Tournament game at 4:30pm. They will play the winner of the Three Forks-Whitehall game at the Belgrade Special Events Center. Their game will also be on the NFHS Network for those unable to make the game.

Class Description: Join Sam and learn how to cast a fly rod, or practice the skills you already have.

The Boys start things off for us when they play Jefferson at 3:00pm on Thursday in Belgrade.
The Girls have a first round bye so their first game will be on Friday at 4:30pm in Belgrade. They will play the winner of the Three Forks-Whitehall game.

Congratulations to the FFA Farm and Agribusiness Management team! Yesterday they competed at the Columbus Ag Business Seminar and took home 1st place! We also placed 5 in the top 10 and swept the top 4 individually.
Guildy Briwning placed 1st, Sierra Mauland placed 2nd, Zoey Aller placed 3rd, Ashley Young placed 4th and Jake Chulyak placed 8th.
Awesome job FFA!


Class #3: 1st Aid/CPR
Instructor: Sweet Grass Ambulance Barn
Date: Thursday, April 21st
Time: 5:30-7:30pm for 1 class, 5:30-10:00pm for both classes
Location: Sweet Grass Ambulance Barn
Class Description: This is the Heartsaver 1st Aid/CPR class which will follow the new 2020 guidelines. 1st Aid will be offered first and will take about 2 hours. CPR will be immediately after and end around 10:00pm. You can sign up for one class or both. All participants must be registered by April 15th.
There is no limit to the amount of people who can attend these classes. Costs are: $50 for one class and $75 for both classes.

Class Description: Join Natasha Stenberg, RD and learn some easy and fun meal prep techniques that will help make the stress around what to eat go away. Learn some great skills in the kitchen as well as some awesome new healthy recipes! Sign up on your own or with a friend.
The fee for this class is $20. Class is limited to 10 people (2 per kitchen space).

Class #4: Kumihimo Jewelry Making
Instructor: Tali Snedigar
Dates: Wednesdays: March 2nd - 23rd
Time: 6:00-7:30pm
Location: SGHS Library
Class Description: Tali Snedigar will be teaching a 4-week Kumihimo Jewelry making class. You will learn the Japanese braiding technique of Kumihimo. You'll learn how to set up, create a braid, and how to add beads to the braid. We will be making a necklace/bracelet set or a necklace/earring set. All of the materials needed will be provided. Bring a large pendant if you have one you'd like to use; there will be a limited selection of pendants to choose from.
The fee for this class is $45 and includes all 4 classes for the session. Class is limited to 10 people.
